As a result of the national Inspectorate patrol operation "Speed" was the excitement of 1373 administrative cases, 187 drivers were sanctioned.

According to the Administrative Code, drivers exceeding the speed limit, and thus violated the traffic rules are penalized as follows:

* For speeding in the 10-20 km / h - $ 20 (400 lei) with the imposition of three penalty points;

* For speeding in the 20-40 km / h - $ 30 (600 lei) with imposing four penalty points; *

* For speeding more than 40 km / h - $ 50 (1000 lei) with the imposition of five penalty points;

The goal of the operation "Speed" is the prevention of accidents and increase the level of discipline of road users.
