History Monuments & Memorials

June 22, 1941 MSSR together with the entire Soviet Union entered World War II. Those who died in battles, defending the homeland and fighting for liberation from German occupation left glory memories of themselves.  We must uphold the eternal memory to the civilian population which annihilated the Nazi oppression!

Throughout Moldova in squares, parks and gardens there are steles, memorial plaques and whole memorial complexes commemorating those who died during Great Patriotic War. They will always remind us of the heroism of those who gave their lives for our life on earth.
