
The documents will be taken in the territorial agencies of payments in agriculture. To obtain the compensation from the state, growers of early plums have to sell fruit to processing factories until September 15th. Those who grow tomatoes and cucumbers, summer and autumn apples, are recommended to sell until the 30th of September.
The Government has increased the volume of plum harvest, for which the state will pay in addition to 30 thousand tons, cucumbers and tomatoes - up to 10 thousand, apples - up to 100 thousand. Authorities want to help those who sell apples to produce processing industry.
Bumacov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, explained that, in paying the compensation they want to encourage farmers to sell more fresh produce.
Those who sell the products at a cheaper price will get compensation to a level that does not exceed 10% of the cost.
Farmers will have to submit invoices and documents proving that they had the product and gardens.
Bumacov said that they have money for the compensation; however, the minister did not say anything about the source of financing and the total amount of aid.
