Romanian Minister: pipeline Iasi-Ungheni will be launched in August

In the second half of August, Iasi-Ungeni pipeline will be launched. This was stated on Monday by Romania Minister of Energy Razvan Nicolaescu.

During the inspection of the object, he noted that the works had been finished in Romania as well as under the river Prut.

Moldova is still continuing to work on its land, the object will be put to August 27.

Iasi-Ungeni pipeline has the length of 43 km, 33km of which lie on the territory of Romania. There were invested 27 million euros, of which 7 million were allocated by EU. Capacity of the pipeline will be 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas.
