The number of mandatory documents required for customs clearance will be reduced to three

Prime Minister Cyril Gaburici has demanded from his subordinates to simplify import and export procedures.

To carry out the task there was created an inter-ministerial working group that will review all permits, in order to reduce their number and establish a minimum list of data and documents required for submission to customs authorities on the border.

According to preliminary data the number of mandatory documents will be reduced to three, namely the invoice, transport documents and permits for certain categories of goods.

At this point, it is required 9 documents for export and 11 for imports.
