The celebration began with opening of the exhibition " Ia - Romanian shirt. Tradition and Modernity". At this exhibition there are objects from National Costume House "„Casa Cristea” that means “Cristea’s House”.
The program includes workshops for children, master-class on making under the direction of Mary Christie, folk masters. The exhibition features five folk costumes created in recent years in workshops "House of Christ" and 30 ias (shirts)
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture of RM with "House of Christea".
Maria Cristea had made costumes since 1980, and in 1994 she founded the national costume house "Cristea’s House."
