A Moldovan citizen has been caught at the border crossing at Stanca and attempting to smuggle 750 packs of cigarettes into Romania.

In the fuel tank and bumper of the car were found cigarette with RM excise stamps to the value of 14 thousand lei.
The whole of the cigarettes and car were arrested by Romanian border guards, latterly a 31-year-old man was fined 21 thousand lei.
