People with visual disabilities will be able to vote on their own at the upcoming parliamentary election

People with visual impairments will be able to secretly vote in the upcoming parliamentary election. This will be possible thanks to a special stenciled envelope with inserted therein ballot.

The envelope is perforated in Braille, and opposite to the names of candidates will be left slot corresponding to the diameter of the seal with the inscription "Votat".

Such a method of voting was tested in Chisinau at parliamentary election of the 2010.
Now it's up to Moldova Association of blind people to submit to the CEC a list of polling stations, where people with visual impairments are going to vote.

The cost of producing special ballots will be covered by the budget.
