Not far off is a breakthrough in the Moldovan pharmacology.  At the State University in Chisinau appeared new faculty to train specialists in the field of biopharmaceutical chemistry, they will develop new treatments and new drugs even during their studies.

Now all Moldovan drug are made on the basis of the formulas obtained by scientists from other countries. However, thanks to new specialty situation may change.

Viorica Gladki, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, noted that firstly professionals must obtain any substance with a therapeutic effect. And then based on this achievements, they will be able to produce drugs.

Medicines production developed by our own formulas will reduce drug prices.

Academician Aurelia Gulya said that one of the goal that they so achieve, will be the development of effective and low-cost new generation drugs. The sepecialists will be a challenge to reduce the side of aftereffects of medication.

The theoretical training is combined with practice. A year later, they will be able to put their knowledge into practice and to start developing medicines produces in Moldova.

In 2014, the competition for this specialty was 2.5 per place.
