March 8th is Day of Women's Charm

Although International Women's Day historically came as a day of solidarity of working women in the struggle for emancipation and equal rights, today it has radically different colour. As nowadays the majority of women are emancipated and have gained equal rights the International Women's Day March 8th has got modern features gradually losing its original political orientation. Now the day of the 8th March is identified with femininity, beauty, spring and motherhood.
Today March 8th is the day of worshiping a real woman, her wisdom and beauty. Almost the entire planet celebrates the holiday of spring and light, paying homage to the traditional role of women as mothers, wives, girlfriends ...

On the eighth day of March each woman is expecting congratulations and, of course, a lot of compliments. In Moldova, as in many other countries, women are given flowers on this Day of Feminine Charm. The closest people give gifts to grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters and girlfriends.

Special parties dedicated to March 8th are carried out in kindergartens; they have a particular scenario of the feast. It is organised for mothers and grandmothers of the children to hear one more time warm and affectionate words in their address. Admirers take the ladies to restaurants where in a romantic setting they can tell their women again how much they mean to them. It goes without saying that at the festive table all congratulations and toasts should be only to WOMEN.


It is remarkable that one of the first spring days is dedicated to you, our beloveds. Your wisdom protects home and teaches to supervise labour collectives. Your patience helps to endure the hardships of everyday life, kindness - to raise the children and grandchildren. Thank you for your kindness and warmth, love and tenderness, work and patience. Thank you for everything!
