2015 is declared by the National Library - the year of opera singer Maria Bieshu and poet Grigore Vieru.

During this year will be organized various cultural events dedicated to the two artists. Already on February 14, the day of his eightieth birthday of the great poet, the National Library will host an exhibition dedicated to the poet.

And in September, will be held in Chisinau music festival named Maria Bieshu.
