The Romanian Government will allocate for this 1 million Euro for the construction of Cahul theater named "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu."

At the future construction site until 2000 was an old theater building "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu", which was demolished due to an emergency condition. The theater troupe with all the props were temporarily housed in the building of the City Court.

Arrived in Moldova Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, together with the Prime Minister of Moldova laid the first stone of the future new theater building.

Construction works will begin in March 2015 and will be completed within two years.
