NBM has recorded deceleration of GDP growth in Moldova

In the 1st quarter of this year, GDP growth of the Republic of Moldova went down from 11.3% to 3.6%. Dorin Dragutanu, president of the National Bank of Moldova noted that this decline of GDP growth was due to the reduction of agriculture from 7% to 3%. Other sectors of the economy have recorded growth compared with the previous quarter, with the exception of taxes on products.
