Moldovan citizens can travel to Israel without visas

Last weekend Leanca led a discussion with Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli foreign minister. The head of Israeli diplomacy said that starting from September 22nd, citizens of the Republic of Moldova will be able to travel to Israel without visas. The corresponding decision was taken by the government.

Leanca welcomed the decision and said that it would contribute to the further bilateral relations. Avigdor Lieberman said that the Israeli authorities expressed interest in supporting Moldova.

Israel and Moldova have signed 24 bilateral agreements so far, including the Agreement on hiring 1,000 citizens of the Republic of Moldova. There are still 8 Moldo-Israeli agreements on the docket.
