The Constitutional Court upheld the provisions of the Code of Administrative Offences relating to the punishment of owners of vehicles, hiding from the police information about persons to whom they have entrusted their cars.
In particular, the Court considered the constitutionality of Article Art. 234 of the Administrative Code, which provides for a fine of 900 to 2,000 lei for failing, at the request of the police, to whom the owner has entrusted the car for a certain period.
