Gold and bronze for Moldova at the International Chemistry Contest

At the International Mendeleev Chemistry Competition students from Moldova have won gold and bronze medals. The contest was held from May, 3 to 9, 2015 in Yerevan.

According to Minprosvet, Alexander Pupeza a student of 12th form  of Chisinau Theoretical Lyceum "Nikolai Gogol" won the Golden award. The bronze medal was taken by Iulian Ciobanu, a student of the graduating class of the capital of the Theoretical Lyceum «Orizont».

There were three rounds at the International Chemistry Contest - two theoretical and one experimental. There were proposed tasks of high complexity level.

This year the competition was attended by 95 students from 15 countries.
