Restoration work will begin in the second half of August of this year and will be carried out in stages.
Deputy Minister of Culture, George Postică, explained: "Firstly we are going to renovate the house then settle to improve landscaping and fencing of the building. We have developed a project for restoration. After the tender, which will be held on August 13, we will select a company that will do the job."
Vieru House Museum Opening is scheduled for February 14, 2015 – and dedicated to the 80th birthday of the poet.
