In Transnistria a new version of traffic rules has entered into force. The changes should facilitate a more secure environment on the roads.

Now, along with the documents for the right to control and ownership of the vehicle, the driver must have his insurance policy.

Under the new rules, vehicles must not stop at a crosswalk and at a distance of 10 meters before and after it. In the daytime all moving vehicles should have dipped headlights on or daytime running lights. Seat belts are mandatory.
