Next year the calculation scheme of disability pension will be changed. According to the new rates the disability pension for handicapped people will be 30 %, children with disabilities will receive 80 %.

A child who has lost a breadwinner will receive 15 % of non-contributory retirement pension (this amount changes every year). Orphans will be paid 30%.

The pension for people who take care of handicapped people also will have some changes -75 % of non-contributory retirement pension. The government is ready to help the senior paying them 15% of non-contributory retirement pension.

The average amount of hardship allowance will increase by 80-100 lei. Changes will come into effect on April 1, 2014.
