New Year (Anul Nou) is a holiday celebrated by many countries according to their calendar. The tradition of celebrating this holiday existed already in the third millennium BC in Mesopotamia. The first of January is the beginning of the year and was set up by the Roman ruler Julius Caesar in 46 BC.
