In Buiucani sector of the capital in front of the National Art Museum, soon there will be a memorial plaque to French artist Auguste Bayar. Currently in the museum there are restoration works.

The decision to install the memorial sign has been approved by the government, the cost of construction and installation of the board shall bear the state budget.

At the time, the French artist Auguste Bayard donated his collection of over 300 works of Bessarabian art, to Chisinau National Art Museum.
