The monument to Grigory Kotovski is one of the most important symbols of the capital of Moldova. However, there is such a feeling that the relevant government services are not pay due diligence to its upkeep, as "thanks" to the hundreds of pigeons the monument has become an object of ridicule for the townspeople.
