Reconstruction of the manor was started by the local authorities, after their project had won the competition of Regional Development Agency "Center". However, the approval of the Ministry of Culture, the project was never obtained.
As a result the work carried out without the participation of experts, did not meet the principles of the restoration of historic monuments.
The Agency for the Protection of Monuments emphasises that local authorities did not consult with any expert.
Director of the Agency for inspection and restoration of monuments Ion Stefanita said: "What we saw on the spot: paving tiles and strengthened concrete wall - it is not compatible with the restoration of this historic monument, as it distorts the authenticity of the estate. "
The restoration work will cost the budget five million lei.
