A railway terminal for transport of liquid cargo has been put into operation in Giurgiuleşti

The first railway terminal for transport of liquid cargo has been put into operation, located in the International Giurgiuleşti Port.

Attending the opening ceremony, Minister of Transport, Vasile Botnari, said: "We have started supplying rail lubricants from Romania and it is very profitable. And we are pleased to know that this type of transport is being developed. With the help of the port we have access to all the countries of the world, into the waters of the Black Sea ... everywhere! ".

The project cost is about two million lei. The funds are provided by the European Investment Bank and one of the commercial banks of Moldova.
