Due to the collapse of the national currency of the RM and further price increases, many residents of Chisinau and its suburbs headed to Metro stores to make purchases of perishable goods.

Eyewitnesses say that such a stir and long queues in these stores, you can only see the New Year or Easter.

People buy large amounts of diapers, detergents, personal care items, juices, water, sunflower oil, canned food, pasta, sugar, cereals, flour and other products.

Many products have disappeared from the shelves. Also, long queues were observed at the gas station, which has not raised prices.
