Against the background of the embargo, the RM increased export plums and apples in Belarus. This is stated in the materials of the Mission of the EU Border Assistance describing the main events on the border of Moldova and Ukraine during the month of August.

After the ban of import of apples into Russia, reported an increase in exports of plums and apples in Belarus. Thus, the export of plums grown in 6 times, and apples - to 24. The average price for apples is stable, plums fell by 20% compared with August 2013. However, the exports of peaches and grapes in Belarus decreased.
