The new price of Russian natural gas. From the next year, Moldova will import gas nearly forty three dollars less than it is now. Today representatives of Gazprom and Moldovagaz have extended the contract for the supply and transit of natural gas till the end of the 2015 year.

The documents were signed in Chisinau by vice president of Gazprom, Alexander Medvedev and Moldovagas Director Alexander Gusev.

This year one thousand cubic meters of Russian natural gas costs 374 dollars. In 2015, Moldova will pay for natural gas 331 dollar 80 cents. It is still unknown if the new purchase price will affect the tariff for consumers.
