In connection with the heat in Moldova a “yellow” code of meteorological hazards is declared

Due to the heat throughout Moldova a “yellow” code has been declared, which will be in force until August 5.

The average temperature in Moldova will hold at the mark of +33. On weekends, the temperature will rise to 35, and in the south to 38 degrees above zero. Storms are possible.

Doctors advise to stay at home as much as possible and drink more water. It is recommended to wear light-colored clothing preferably of natural fabrics.

Employers are required to provide workers with water and protective equipment.

Head of the Labour Inspectorate of the National Confederation of Trade Unions, Andrew Adam, said: "According to the norms, each worker has to have from two to four liters of water in a shift. In working areas ventilation and air-conditioning is a must ".
