The EU will give Moldova funds for health system reform

The last tranche of EUR 6 million will be given to our country by the European Union. Assistance is provided under the program budget support Moldova.

EU Head of Mission in Moldova, Pirkko Tapiola said: "The European Union has recognised that we have good results, the government implements reforms and decided to pass six million euro grant in support of the budget in this area."

Money will go to health care reform and for the purchase of equipment for the modelling training center at Medical University.

From 2008 to 2012 the Budget Support Program, Moldova received from the EU 49 million euros.
