Thus, according to the law "On Foreigners and International Protection", the validity of passports of tourists who are entitled to a visa-free stay in Turkey for 60 days, shall expire not less than 120 days from the date of entry.
Turkish authorities gave the explanation that the law adopted in accordance with international standards and adapted to the EU legislation.
We note that the document originally was supposed to come into force yet on April 11, 2014. Decided to change the date in order not to disrupt the tourist season.
