In the sector Chokani police arrested an armed robber, who on Wednesday night attacked a taxi driver. 48-year-old taxi driver picked up a passenger on the boulevard Mircea cel Batran around midnight.

Passenger, immediately after getting into the taxi, put a gun to the head of the driver and demanded the driver's money. Taking possession of personal valuables of driver and the amount of 2, 5 thousand lei, the robber fled.

He was arrested 12 hours later. The offender has been previously convicted. He seized a gas pistol CTZ.
