During the marching of the Socialists column to the eternal fire, Communists joined in coming from the central square of the capital towards the memorial. In the march there were five thousand citizens. Participants chanted "Thank you Grandpa for Victory", "Victory!". Column of communists was headed by Vladimir Voronin and the Communist Party deputies. The orchestra played military and patriotic compositions.
