New Open - Air Summer Theater is opened at Hîncesti residential area. Its construction is of a fully funded by the local budget. The mayor of the city - Alexander Botnari said that the first event organized at the Open - Air Theatre is a boxing tournament "Cup of the Mayor," which was held on August 27, the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.

Summer theater includes 500 spectators. 70 thousand lei cost the construction of walls and installation of audience seats. For the repair of the road leading to the theater from the city budget is allocated 700 thousand lei. The cost of work on electricity installation works as well as LED lamps and a separate electric pulse counter cost 119 thousand lei.

Alexander Botnari said that in this Open Air Summer Theater will be held a variety of cultural events, which are aimed at promoting the beautiful art among urban residents.
