From June 28 to August 3, in all branches of population documentation the process of issuing biometric passports has changed. Since June 28 it will not be possible to apply for a certificate of personality for 5, 10 or 15 days.

Biometric passport can now be obtained only after a month of submission of the application, in this case, paying for it 700 lei. The service of issuing a biometric passport urgently remains possible only for 24 hours, and the cost of such a document will be twice as much - 1520 lei for 6:00 -1900 lei and for 3 hours - 2280 lei.

It is not possible to receive a biometric passport on Saturday as this day only those citizens who wish to replace Soviet passports are served. Soviet passports will not be valid from September 1, 2014.
