In the village of Saiti, Causani district there has been erected a memorial cross dedicated to the victims of Stalin's deportations.
A seven meter monument is the handiwork of one of the locals. Memorial sign is set on a hill and visible from any point of the village.
At the opening of the monument there were dozens of villagers. Only from the village of Saiti Causani district there were exiled to Siberia 57 families.
