In Chisinau is launched the first tourist trolley. Action provides sightseeing tours around Moldovan capital. This action aims to promote tourist attractions. The Agency for Tourism said that the project is implemented by the example of touristic exursions in Europe.

Excursions on this type of urban transportion are devoted to the 55th anniversary of the Moldovan tourism.

At the park of Europe on August 27 at 10:00 am, is organised the opening ceremony for launching of a tourist trolley. This action - it is a kind of activities that are organized by the government in honour of the holidays, "Mother Language Day" and "Independence Day."

On Independence Day of Moldova Republic, on August 27, the tours will be for free, and after - by tickets and will be held every weekend up to the National Wine Day. On Independence Day will be three tours: from 10:15 to 12:15, from 12:30 to 14:30, from 15:00 to 17:00. Sightseeing tour will start from trolley bus stop that is near the park of Europe.

The project is organized by the Agency for Tourism of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with the municipality of Chisinau and with the support of USAID CEED II.
