Payment terminals will read data from the electronic cards. The administration assures that this new innovation will not leave conductors without work.
The Director of Chisinau Electric Transportation, Gheorghe Morgoci, explained: "Our conductors will not remain without work. With the introduction of the new system, their status will change and new positions created such as supervisors and auditors. They will check whether all passengers are paying. After all, many of them are those who like to ride for free."
The project is going to be implemented in 2015
