Polish First Lady Anna Komorowska, during her official visit to Moldova, took part in the opening of the rheumatology department of the Institute of Mother and Child. The newly opened office was renovated and refurbished in direct financial support of the Polish government.

Director of the Institution Stefan Gaţcan said: "Soon 20 Moldovan specialists are going to be able to take their study course in the Institute of Mother and Child in the Polish city of Łódź."

Later, the first lady of Poland and Moldova held a bilateral meeting, where they discussed issues related to strengthening the Moldovan-Polish partnership.
