Rules for crossing the border with Russia have been complicated.

Now, at the crossings the Russian Border the Frontier Service will check foreign citizens and stateless people for medical insurance.

If they fail to have the obligatory medical insurance for entering the territory of Russia, they will be banned. People without medical insurance within the Russian Federation can be fined in accordance with the legislation of the country.
