Under the patronage of UNESCO, in the National Library of the Republic of Moldova there has been opened XXIII International Book Fair, which runs until September 4th.
Moreover, there was inaugurated the "National Festival of Books and Reading", which will be held throughout Moldova and ends on 12 September.
Both of the above events are devoted to European integration of the Republic of Moldova and are timed to Dumitru Matkovschi Year.
