Alexander Rascanu showed the best result, he made it to the finals by defeating the Italian Manuela Kappa, 2-1. Rascanu could not come out in the final match due to the injury, so he became a silver medalist of the tournament.
Dmitru Galat lost in the semifinals coming out against European champion Vitali Dunaytsev and won a bronze medal.
